Sleep Issues
Alongside diet and exercise, sleep is the third element of a healthy lifestyle; it’s critical to our health and wellbeing to have good quality sleep. Not getting enough sleep impacts our behaviour, and if it continues over a long period, we experience emotional, physical and mental side effects, which eventually impact our lives and those around us at home or work.
However, getting a good night’s sleep can be easier said than done and there are many reasons why it’s elusive for some. There may be a medical reason for it, or you may find it hard to switch off at night. An event, sequence of events and/or lifestyle choices can impact our ability to sleep, but insomnia doesn’t spontaneously occur without reason.
How can hypnotherapy help?
As you’re aware, being anxious about not sleeping only makes the matter worse and being in a calm state of mind before bedtime is the key to a good night.
Hypnotherapy helps you relax physically and mentally, and can help with sleep issues in many ways by preparing your mind better to fall into a deep sleep when you go to bed. By changing the way your subconscious has learned to behave, hypnotherapy allows you to get back to deep, refreshing sleep once more.
Using NLP techniques and hypnotherapy, I work with you to find the causes for your insomnia or problems falling asleep. I will give you new techniques and new positive routines that will allow you to move on from your sleep disorder, sleep well and benefit from your new improved sleep patterns.
Please be reassured that whilst in hypnosis, you are always in control and are never made to do anything that you feel uncomfortable about.
